Meet Our Director – Amanda Bisson
Amanda Bisson brings over two decades of experience across a diverse range of Human Resources roles. She has spent much of her career working with leaders at all levels, helping them gain strategic insight into their leadership approach, communication style, and personal effectiveness.

Amanda has a deep understanding of organisational culture and the pivotal role leaders play in shaping and influencing it. Before founding The People Hive in July 2020, she held the position of Head of People and Culture at Qantas, where she developed deep expertise in leadership development, assessment tools, and methodologies.

She is passionate about helping leaders and teams perform at their best, find fulfilment, and build the resilience required for sustainable high performance. Amanda is dedicated to supporting individuals to lead with purpose — connecting who they are with what they do. She brings a thoughtful, empathetic approach, listening deeply to the challenges leaders face and guiding them to overcome obstacles and unlock their full potential.

As an experienced facilitator, Amanda designs and delivers engaging team sessions and leadership development days. She has guided leadership teams in identifying high-performance behaviours and uncovering the traits that drive business success.

Amanda is a qualified coach, a Certified Practitioner in Human Resources (CPHR) through the Australian HR Institute, and holds accreditations in a range of assessment and facilitation tools including:

• Life Styles Inventory (LSI) and Group Styles Inventory (GSI)

• DiSC®

• Patrick Lencioni’s The Five Behaviors®

• Meditation instruction

She has been accredited in LSI/GSI for over a decade and most recently completed executive study in Neuroscience for Leadership at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
